There's much to see and do in Hannibal, Missouri!


Visitors to the Hannibal History Museum tell us that they need at least two days to visit the attractions, take the tours, and explore the wonderful shopping in Hannibal.


STAY:  You may choose to stay in one of Hannibal's historic Bed & Breakfasts or find a comfy room in one of the many hotels in and around Hannibal.


EAT:  From fine dining to kid-friendly fare, local restaurateurs will tantalize your tastebuds.


ENJOY:  Outdoor types will enjoy campgrounds, scenic trails, beautiful parks overlooking the Mississippi River, bike trails, water sports, and a visit to Mark Twain Lake.


DRINK:  Wine lovers can sample wonderful Missouri wines and beer lovers can taste craft beers brewed locally by independent brewers at one of the many Hannibal "watering holes".


FOR THE KIDS: There's plenty to keep the kids busy, from climbing the 244 steps to the Lighthouse to exploring the Mark Twain Cave.


EVENINGS: In the evening, walk amongst the graves of Civil War soldiers and search for signs of paranormal activity on the Haunted Hannibal Ghost Tour or cruise the Mississippi River on the riverboat Mark Twain.
